Learn how to recover Exchange mailboxes and servers

Description

The purpose of this 1-day course is to teach messaging specialists to recover Exchange mailboxes and servers in a variety of disaster scenarios. Participants will learn how to perform full and dial-tone recoveries of a mailbox server, as well as repair a mailbox database. They will also learn how to perform a full recovery of Client Access servers, Hub Transport servers, and Edge Transport servers.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students should have the following skills and knowledge: Working knowledge of malware; Conceptual understanding of firewalls; Working knowledge of how PKI is managed in the directory; Experience using the following tools and applications: NTBackup,
NSLookup, Windows Explorer, MMC, Active Directory Users and Computers; Active Directory Sites and Services; IIS Admin; Outlook; Working knowledge of Windows server operating system; Working knowledge of network technologies; Working knowledge of Active Directory; Working knowledge of Exchange Server 2007; Conceptual understanding of e-mail technologies.
